You can simply unwind in the comfort of your own lodge or use it as a base for days out with your family to visit historic York, the Yorkshire Dales, Moors and the beaches of the Yorkshire coastline.

A natural haven of birds, animals and plants, right on your doorstep! Either explore the woodland trails and walks or just watch from your Outdoor Hot Tub and you will see some of Griffon Forests special residents!

To explore further a field you could hire one of our mountain bikes or try pony trekking over the stunning North Yorkshire countryside.

Whichever you prefer, natural beauty is never far away.

    This is the kind of place that looks amazing in the summer as well as in the winter time. The lodge was wonderful, as well as the quests and the self catering facilities. Thank you for offering us this amazing anniversary!

    This is definitely the perfect place to relax. I’ve never seen something quite like it in my life. The views are just to die for, as well as the interior of the lodges. There is something magic about the Griffon Forest. We had our honeymoon here and we loved it so much, can’t wait to return.

    I loved the fact that when me and my husband arrived at the Griffon Forrest, we were welcomed with chocolate and champagne. The self catering facilities are impressive. I recommend the Woodmans Lodge for families and the Poachers lodge for couples.

    The lodges are beautifully designed, definitely the perfect choice for a romantic getaway or for a honeymoon. The lodges are self catering so nobody will bother you love birds on your holiday. I recommend!

    Oh, my, the Griffon forest is absolutely beautiful. The self catering lodges are luxurious, cozy and eco. I enjoyed my week at the Poachers open plan lodge a lot. The surroundings are breath taking, as well as the self catering facilities.
