Detailed description:
In addition to the regular curriculum, many enrichment activities are offered, including trips and residential visits. Older children have the opportunity to participate in residential visits to Braeside in Devizes and Hooke Court, Dorset. Visitors are invited to make presentations.
Many extra curricular activities are offered including music and sport. Most Junior children attend clubs. We offer peripatetic music lessons for an increasing range of instruments.
Each year all pupils have the opportunity to participate in a musical production. In the infants this is usually in the form of a Nativity play. Junior productions are more diverse and have gained a reputation for providing both excellent entertainment and high quality singing.
The school has an excellent range of musical instruments, gymnastics and sports equipment.
The school participates in many local events and competitions e.g. Salisbury Mini-Marathon, Area athletics, football and netball leagues, cricket tournaments, Junior Good Citizens, local music festivals, Cathedral Workshops, Environment Day, cycling proficiency. Sports coaches regularly work at school offering a range of activities across different year groups.
