G.W Green Cleaning Services, with Gordon Green as proprietor, started in 1970. By the late 70's the work being undertaken had grown considerably, and in 1978 it was necessary to form a Limited Company. Greenclean Limited was thus established with Gordon Green as Managing Director and his wife Jacky, who left the city to become Financial Director. The Company has continued to grow steadily and, in its' 25th year James Davis became Sales Director after eight years with the Company. The Company continues to grow, whist remaining a family business respectful of traditional values.

contracts from traditional ladder work, to high level window

cleaning utilising the most appropriate access equipment.

We can clean up to 18m high by water fed pole. This method of cleaning using pure water technology has many Health and Safety benefits as the operators feet never leave the floor.

Alternatively, we can arrange the most suitable hydraulic platform for access, or can abseil if required.

Many systems exist, but the fundamental principle is that pure water is pumped up through a pole to a brush. We have poles that reach up to 18m (approximately 60 feet or 5 to 6 floors high). The operator then cleans the window using the brush. No ladders, hydraulic platforms or other access equipment are required not only greatly reducing the cost to our clients, but also simplifying Health and Safety Risk Assessments, as the operators feet never leave the floor.

Around London, most areas have ‘hard’ water containing high levels of dissolved solids. These solids are responsible for the hard water marks (lime scale) that you get when water is left to evaporate. The secret of the pole system is that the water used is ‘pure’.

By heavily filtering and de-ionising the water, in excess of 99% of the total dissolved solids can be removed.
