Description Greenbank Leisure Centre, Swadlincote
Many of our Supporters are loyal, local, long-term users of the sports hall, swimming pool and gym. We were therefore delighted to refurbish the centre’s ‘tired’ changing rooms last year – providing new, more accessible, facilities to better meet the needs of parents with young children and disabled people.
We have an extensive range of exercise classes and our swimming teachers have a reputation of helping people, children and adults, to ‘get the knack’ of learning to swim. Whilst Squash did not feature in the London 2012 Olympic Games (it might yet make the programme for Rio in 2016), our squash courts are proving to be very popular by Supporters looking to get and stay fit.
We are here – and very happy – to help you exercise or play sport, on your own or as part of a group, at whatever stage or age you are. What matters most to us is that you enjoy the experience of feeling fitter, improving your skill, practising with or playing for a team.
