Grays Court is an English Country House nestling right in the heart of a vibrant city. We are a short stroll from the centre of York with its offering of visitor attractions and exciting shops. Visitors are able to relax on our sofas and sample our menu, which takes inspiration from the best of British food and to which we add our own subtle twist, we endeavour to use locally sourced produce and to promote Yorkshire's regional dishes. With fine wines from independent merchants, the best spirits and exciting cocktails from our bar will help to make your visit to Grays Court an unforgettable experience. A private dining room is available, seating up to 18 for meetings and private events. Our seven new rooms have been beautifully and individually furnished, offering luxurious surroundings and unrivalled views over the City Walls. Clarins products are free for guests to use and we also offer free wifi in all public areas.

Named after Jacques Sterne this is a fine Georgian Dining Room with splendid views over the garden and City walls to the rear and over the cobbled courtyard to the front of the house. Accommodates 50 theatre-style or 40 for dining. A bookish room, housing our bar with choice drinks and cocktails. A 16th c.
