We are very much a dairy farm at the forefront of our industry. Five years ago we created a fabulous milking environment for our cows by building a state-of-the-art rotary parlour.
Detailed description:
Of course not all our equipment is state-of-the-art; we find the traditional methods still have their place on our farm - carrying milk to the baby calves.
Since then we have been developing our farm and striving for fantastic quality milk. It is of course this milk that we use to make Granny Gothards ice creams.
Our milk and cream are fresh, straight from the cows, at morning milking. It is the fantastic feedback we receive from our customers about our ice creams that makes those early mornings all the more worthwhile!
