Short profile:

Through our PE scheme all children take part in 2 hours physical activity a week over the course of the academic year. In addition a very good variety of extra curricular sporting activities are offered to pupils which are led by volunteer parents, other adults, members of teaching staff and specialist coaches.

Children are keen to be involved in the opportunities offered which include the following:

French Classes

Athletics

Basketball Coaching

Badminton

Fitness Zone

Cricket

All classes partake in various trips designed to enhance and enrich the curriculum offered in school.

An outdoor and adventurous residential opportunity is offered to all pupils in Y6. This year pupils are travelling to Plas-Dol-Y-Moch in North Wales for 5 days and 4 nights. The course gives pupils the opportunity to experience new and challenging acitivities; it encourages positive teamwork and helps them develop organisational andcommunication skills.
