All garden design work is carried out by Graham so you can be assured of the highest level of attention. He will work with you to create the garden you want. 'It would not be right for me to experiment in people's gardens, so I work around what is there and only incorporate what I know will work'.

What is Garden Design? Good question. We are very passionate about garden design but feel it has lost its way. There seems to be a lack of understanding within the industry of what garden design is all about. Graham was trained by some of the leading garden designers of the 20th century and uses techniques designed to make a garden feel comfortable and roomy. Couple this with a desire to ensure the construction is carried out to a high standard, that the new area is practical and easy to look after, and you will have a good idea of what we try to achieve.

The garden design is only the first stage in the process of creating a garden. Construction, obtaining the plants, planting and maintenance are all important elements and we give assistance at every stage.

Graham is also an author and has written 6 books on garden design subjects. Some of his books have been published in French, German and Portuguese. He also gives talks on behalf of the Royal Horticultural Society and lectures extensively on garden design subjects.
