The Godstone Hotel and Coach-House Restaurant are ideally situated just off junction 6 on the M25 in the beautiful old village of Godstone, and surrounded by the lovely Surrey countryside. Gatwick Airport is easily accessible, 15 mns away. Offering good locally sourced food (whenever possible), a relaxed yet efficient approach to service and a place to stay.
When they step inside the door to a candlelit interior with its original Inglenook fireplaces and low beamed ceiling, visitors know they have found a place worth making the journey to. All our bedrooms are situated on the ground floor and peacefully away from the main road.
Each has it's own front door, private shower/bathroom en-suite, TV, and Tea/Coffee making facility.
The Coach-House has long been famous for both Continental cuisine and traditional English cooking. Exciting contemporary dishes have also been introduced:all characterized by the freshest ingredients, locally sourced whenever possible.
An extensive menu a la carte and various seasonal menus are on offer.
The perfect spot for lunch or for a romantic candlelight dinner, incredible dishes combine with a friendly but attentive service and a relaxed atmosphere to create a magical dining experience.
Before or after your meal, relax in our comfortable lounge, also open to non diners just wishing to pop in for a drink, morning coffee, a light snack or afternoon tea.
During the summer drinks and refreshment can be enjoyed on the terrace.
The Creamery is a charming room, heavily beamed, with its own Inglenook fireplace. It is ideal for private lunch/dinner parties of 20 to 30 guests, giving your event a delightfully exclusive feel.
For parties up to 65 guests, you can enjoy the whole restaurant to yourself.
Choose either a conventional menu or a menu especially created for you and your guests to enjoy.
Small meeting are available in our private lounge up to 6 people.
Also the Creamery can be ideal for meetings up to 16 delegates.
