St Lawrence provides a friendly and caring community where staff, pupils, parents and governors work together to provide an environment where every child is able to fulfil their potential.

The accommodation includes an early years area that is virtually self-contained with its own entrance, cloakrooms and toilets; a computer room equipped with 17 networked computers and a server; a library; general classrooms; a dual-purpose hall and gymnasium with a stage, stage-lighting and an audio system; an indoor heated swimming pool with changing-rooms and a dining hall with adjacent kitchen. Outside, there are extensive playing fields; two playgrounds, one of which has floodlighting; an environmental studies garden, and a dual-purpose playground and coach park.
