Detailed description:
As well as a varied and exciting curriculum, we have many extra-curricula activities, clubs and projects for the children. For sport, we have a successful boys and girls football team, cross-country team, cricket team, Kurling club, gymnastics club, dance club, dance mat club, infant golf club and multi-sports club. We have many children in our fantastic school choirs and a number of children who have music lessons at Glen Hills. Our ICT, story, craft, drama/movement and team-building clubs are well attended and the Chess League is always very popular! We also have a pupil-run newspaper and a garden club which help to widen our pupils experiences and further enrich our education at Glen Hills.
Our Student Council is also extremely active and makes valuable contributions to life at Glen Hills. School visits and trips are of key importance to Glen Hills. We believe that children learn more effectively when they have first-hand and real-life experiences.
All year groups have visits to a variety of places and our year 4 and 5 pupils are offered the chance to go on residential visits to Quorn Hall and Llandudno respectively
