This includes windows, doors, cladding, assemblies, curtain walling, double glazing, glass in furniture, transportation, in aquaria and machinery, glass handling, processing, damage, weathering, staining, wind loading, explosion resistance. I also cover glass legislation, risk assessment, failures, and injuries resulting from glass accidents.
Detailed description:
I was the author of all Pilkington's Flat Glass Technical Literature, for 10 years and I developed and managed a Glass Information and Advisory Service on all aspects of Glass.
I then established myself as an Independent Glass and Glazing Consultant in 1986.
My experience includes employment with Pilkington Plc, world's largest Flat glass producer, for 23 years, first as Laboratory manager, then as Technical Advisory manager.
