We have recently received recognition for our quality at the PrintWeek Awards by winning the Direct Mail Printer of the Year category and we have done so for three of the last four years. Most importantly to us, this shows consistency and that is much harder than producing one good job a year.

We know that we are only as good as our last job. We know that the printing industry is a very hard fought one, where it is often possible to buy the job cheaper elsewhere. Therefore, we have to be better and more flexible. We have to produce a higher quality product and we have to be easier to deal with than the competition. We believe we are all of these things because we enjoy what we do and we want to produce your print and direct mail.

The majority of our staff have been with us for 10 years or more, with 25% serving 16 years or more. The same goes for our clients – once they are with us they don’t leave.

Stability is a solid foundation for success.

We have 2 Heidelberg CD 6 colour presses, both calibrated to ISO12647/2. We regularly obtain very high percentages when we are assessed by the independent auditors, with regular scores in the high eighties and nineties.

We run these presses and not perfector presses because they are so flexible and offer excellent colour control on a multitude or paper surfaces and weights. We have no problem running a 650mic FBB with a solid black on it – we will keep the colour even and it will not mark on the press.

It also means that if you have a read over or an envelope that matches the front cover of a direct mail pack both of the jobs can be on press at the same time to ensure a perfect colour match.

We have various screen ruling and curves, which we use for specific types of printing requirements. We also have the facility to run random dot technology on press.
