The Gateway Holiday Park is one of the most popular campsites for touring caravans, motor homes and tents in South West Wales. Our campsite overlooks the beautiful Loughor estuary, with spectacular views across the Gower Peninsula. For culture seekers and shopaholics the bustling city of Swansea is only half an hour’s drive away and we are minutes from both Trostre & Pemberton retail parks.
Lovers of the Great Outdoors will be spoilt for choice as we are situated right on the new 22km Millennium Cycle Path, a scenic route running along the coast from the village of Bynea to the stunning forests & beaches of Pembrey Country Park. Machynys golf course is 10 minutes away, and less than a mile from the campsite is Parc y Scarlets, the new home of the Scarlets Rugby Club.
Nature lovers & bird watchers alike can enjoy the 450 acre National Wetlands centre of Wales, which is only 2 minutes up the road or simply relax and enjoy some sea-fishing along the estuary.

The campsite and its facilities are open all year round. All our facilities are open to the public, so whether you are staying on site or just visiting for the day or evening, all are welcome to enjoy our Restaurant & Bar (with free live entertainment every weekend!), our Indoor Children's Play Area and our Indoor Heated Swimming Pool. With our large family bar & restaurant and smaller, cosy lounge bar the Gate Inn offers something for everyone. Our main family bar seats up to 260 people and is host to a variety of entertainment most nights of the week.
Our relaxing lounge bar is a more serene room designed for adults. With plush leather seats and a state-of-the-art jukebox, it caters for up to 60 people. Both bars serve a range of lagers, beers & ciders including John Smiths, Worthingtons, Guinness, Magners, Strongbow, Coors, Carling and more...
All major sports matches are shown on our large screen Sky TVs, and with the Parc y Scarlets rugby club just down the road, the atmosphere during Welsh rugby matches is second to none!
