Gale Force Nine is pleased to present March’s release in our line of Battlefield in a Box terrain sets, Swamps. Battlefield in a Box is GF9’s fantastic looking and affordable pre-painted terrain series for miniature wargaming. Each set is ready to use right out of the box and will make your tabletop battles look great! The sets are also designed so that ambitious modelers can embellish or even repaint the terrain to suit their needs.
Detailed description:
Swamps contain two pre-painted bog pool terrain pieces as well as four small stands of muck and rotten stumps. These pools are cast in a flexible material to withstand the rigors of gaming, while the stump stands are made in durable resin. One swamp is 10 inches at its longest point and 7 inches wide. The other bog is 11½ inches long and 7½ inches wide.
The small stump stands are all about 1½ inches round. Like most terrain pieces in our Essentials Range, the pre-painted pieces are un-flocked but the set comes with a small bag of Green Static Grass from the GF9 Hobby Scenics Range. This allows you to flock the terrain to your taste or to use different color from the Hobby Scenics Range match your gaming surface.
Flocks may also be applies to the surface of the green swamps to really give them a scum-covered water effect.
