Short profile:
Our curriculum is currently being reshaped, to offer creative learning opportunities to children and to help them to develop their learning and interpersonal skills. In addition to in-school learning, the children are offered a broad range of activities to enhance their educational experience. Children are able to learn a variety of instruments, including voice, woodwind, piano, brass, strings, guitar and recorder.
We have an orchestra, choir and brass band and the quality of music making in the school is recognised to be unusually high in a primary school. We invite visitors, including musicians, dancers, theatre groups and scientists into school.
There are many fund-raising activities during the year, many of which are run by the children. We offer after-school activities to enhance children's education and opportunities, including dance, basketball, football, recorders, games and homework club.
