Short profile:

The curriculum we offer is broad and balanced and based on national guidelines. Each year we have both residential and non-residental visits, which are first hand experiences to enhance the children's learning, they provide the stimulus for our cross curricular themes.Children in years 3, 4 and 5 have swimming lessons. This year there were no children leaving the school that could not swim! All children in years 3 and 4 have weekly recorder sessions, and year 4 have also had violin sessions. Our musical production this year was Alice, and all Key Stage 2 children had some part in making this a success.

Music lessons are offered for keyboards and violins. We also take children to dance in the annual Chippenham Folk Festival. There are after school clubs for football, netball and a variety of minority sports suited to children from Y R to Y 6.

There are a variety of lunch time and after school clubs offered by staff, including recorders, choir, dance, art, pottery, gardening  and composting, and cards. There have been opportunities for children to be in netball, football, cricket and athletics festivals.
