MelWhat a awesome day! Arkin is a fabulous host. He was very friendly and welcoming and constantly checking to see how everyone was. The hair stylists were fantastic and again very friendly and the photoshoot was a lot of fun! I would definately recommend going!

sasDO NOT EXCEPT A "FREE MAKEOVER" WITH FRESH IMAGE STUDIO'S!! I also won a free makeover which i was looking forward to treating myself and my sister...only to be massively disapointed. We travelled over an hour to london,when we got there we were asked to fill out the form once we handed it in we were rudely told to go home and come back with lot's more outfits,when explained we had 3 and that we had travelled for over an hour they simply wasn't interested and refused to give my deposit back. I spoke to the manager who is the most arrogant i**** i've ever met,refused to see us told us we were wasted his time and he is a professional and to leave. After a 30 minute arguing session he wasn't backing down just constantly rude to both me and my sister. So we left the studio in total shock without my £100 deposit and £70 train fare cost gone out the window,4 weeks later i am fighting my case and TRADING STANDARDS are currently investigating my case as they have performed a BREECH OF CONTRACT and i am owed my £100 back,i refuse to give up,i will not let this awlful company take my money off me. It is a complete scam,they don't care about you they are simply money grabbers!! So disappointed we were both so looking forward to a "pamper day" only to be treated badly and wasted a whole day of our time and money.

Rhii9This place is so nice, warm and welcoming. The host, Arkin is so funny and uplifting and makes you feel comfortable. The make up artists and hairdressers really do make you look beautiful and do a style that really suits your face. The facial is nice and relaxing and keeps your face smooth even until the day after you've been. Arkin gives you drinks and refreshments that are nice and he sells them well so that you can't refuse. He also makes conversation with you and doesn't just leave you there by yourself. He's so crazy and excitable that he gives of energy to you to make the time spent more enjoyable. Gotta love him. The pictures taken are gorgeous and are so fun to take. I would definately come here again, it's a great experience.

JessyeLynDo not accept a make-over at this studio. You did not "win" anything, they just call everyone that they can manage to get off the street. The deposit is too large for comfort, and they will find any excuse not to give it back. My friend and I had a 45 minute train ride and were wanting to go out after our make-over (why waste a make-over to just go home, right?) so we did not bring a suitcase full of outfits. Instead we brought several of our favourite jackets and extra shoes. They said this was not following their terms and conditions, were very rude to us, kicked us out, and told us that we "wasted the stylists" time. They now will not give my large deposit back, and are rude to me over the phone. Their coined phrase is "because it's all about you" which is a complete lie.
Do not, just do not accept a "free" make-over from this studio. Oh, and the guy that everyone says is so warm and nice is the fakest *** guy I've ever met.

Arkin is the most amazing, friendliest guy. Made me and my friend feel so welcome and couldn't be more helpful if he tried. The staff were just as friendly. We were so relaxed the photo shoot was a dream. The photographer was great and the results prove this.
Thank you so so so so much, for an amazing day, i will be recommending you to all my friends and family, and i have been to DoubleTake Studios and they are nothing compared to you. You are so up there above them. Thank you xxxxxxx

MadewineI don't know where the rest of you went for the makeover but it doesn't sound like a the same place i went to!
Admittedly i was somewhat suspicious about the competition but once i got there i had a fantastic day! Arkin was lovely and couldn't do enough to help us! Have you people never heard of customer service the poor bloke is just doing his job.... and really well at that!
Photo's were amazing and very professional we ended up buying a couple and now we have them to keep both in print and on CD for a reasonable price compared to other studios.
I think some people are just being a bit picky to be honest... i was impressed with the whole day.

Angela GI took my daughter along for the day.We had a warm welcome from Arkin and the girls. We did have to wait for a long time, but the photography made us feel at ease and the photo's were fantastic.I did find the price expensive, however, people have commented on them. I was able to send them to all family members as the cd and copy right belongs to me.

BexWhat a brilliant day!!!! Arkin was hilarious and so welcoming, couldn't be more helpful. Thank you Arkin you made the day really special for us (although I went home with a headache from all the wine you kept giving me) :-) The hair and make up was fantastic and your team made sure my 2 young children weren't left out, they were given the royal treatment too....thank you!!! And Daniella was awesome! Made us feel really relaxed and got some fab pictures! The only problem was they were all so good I couldn't choose between them so I ended up buying more than I'd planned to!!! But they are so worth it! Thank you to everyone at Fresh Image Studio, especially Arkin, we all thoroughly enjoyed our day and you went out of your way to make it special for us! We will definitely be back! Becky, Kelsey and Brayden xxxx

LalaI too filled out my details whilst out on a shopping trip with a friend. Only to get a phone call a week or so later to say I had one, strangely enough so had my friend!!
So when they rung and gave me all the details I answered all of their questions providing my card details for them as requested. I was then told they would need to take the deposit straight away. I explained to them that I wasn't sure if I would be going and that I did not want to book for something that I might not attend, so asked if they could call me back at the end of the month. The lady I spoke to said this wasn't a problem they would call me back to confirm and book in. I then asked her to clarify that no money would be taken from my card until they had called me again and I had confirmed that I wanted to book.
Well they charged my card yesterday and called me afterwards to let me know that they had made the booking and they wanted to confirm my address details to send the documentation to. So I have spent ages on the phone to them today argueing over why they have taken money against my card without my authorisation, they have said that as I have provided the card details then I knew they were going to take the money so they would not issue a refund!! Luckily I have spoken to my card provider today and they have confirmed that it has not gone through as yet and they have blocked the payment.
Please whatever you do don't give them any details until you are certain you want to attend or you may end up attending just because you have to to get your money back

AbbieI dont know where all of you went because i had the time of my life, it was so fun and friendly and the receptionist, Arkin was hilarious and made me and my mum feel so comfortable and relaxed, He served out lots of drinks and kept topping everyones up, He gave out platters of kettle crisps and insisted we eat, and feel at home.
The facial was very relaxing and the standard was very high, she massaged my face and made me almost fall asleep it was so nice.
The make-up was so beautiful and she tried so hard to make me look as glamorous as possible. I had lovely smokey black eyes that made my eyes really stand out and I had the most subtle shiny lips that looked so plumped and pretty.
With my hair they gave me alot of choices about 7 different ways to put it up like a movie star;straight and silky; wavy and rocking; big and back combed; curly and volumised or funky and messy. I had my hair curly and as my hair being quite droopy and dull she really made it look stunning and big but still look natural.
When i got taken to get my photo shoot i was helped with my poses and they looked so fashionable and styling and the photographer was charming and made me laugh, at the end we knew we would have some really great photos.
Then a friengly and chatty women came in to show us our finished and edited photos i was really impressed. She had the normal pictures to shows us and the ones they had slightly changed, i was very pleased and impressed with the photos! I wanted to buy them all, when at the begining we had said we would only buy 2 each. At the end we brought 30 pictures at a very reasonable price and was smiling all the way though our time there.
I will say, yes there was a lot of waiting but of course there would be as there was many other people having a photo shoot as well. I didnt find the waiting at all bad as Arkin had us laughing all the time.
Many of you were saying that it was shabby but thinking that it was 2008 and they had only just opened and getting on there feet. In 2010 the place looks great and there getting it redecorated.
I would recomend this place to anyone one whos looking for fun, a good time, to feel beautiful and for absolutly GREAT pictures!!! XXXXXX :D :D :)
