Detailed description:
The Needles at Alum Bay are located within two kilometres, with the beaches of Totland Bay and Freshwater Bay within three kilometres. Frenchman's Cove is surrounded by footpaths enabling ramblers to keep off the roads and appreciate the local countryside with magnificent views. Not far away is the town of Yarmouth and the river Yar with plenty of birds to keep ornithologists happy. In the spring and summer the flowers are a delight to see as are the butterflies.
