A revolutionary team of chiropractors, physiotherapist and medics working together to bring you a technique that is comfortable and effective. Micro Precision Manipulation (MPM) uses only a minimal amount of energy to create a change which allows your body to stabilise more quickly, which mean LESS TREATMENTS ARE NEEDED! There is no cracking, over-stretching muscles or injecting painkillers. Exclusively available at a Frameworks clinic near you. Explore our site to find out how we are helping to treat back, neck and joint pain for patients across Dorset, Hampshire and Leicestershire.
If we pass a critical eye over what we are all trying to achieve as clinicians with musculoskeletal disorders, I think if we are honest, we all fell somewhere short of where would like to be. This was the premise from which we started. How could we evolve to create a radical and new approach that neither caused pain or endangered the patient and gave them the opportunity to improve themselves and take control of their own cases.
The one major change Frameworks technique provides is that we have developed an algorithm, that in essence, allows us to deliver a consistent treatment to every patient, on every occasion and relates to their body weight as an input measure alone and thus utilises enough energy, solely to change joint position without compromising the integrity of that joint.
Steroids might change the perception of pain but do nothing to reduce the predisposition to injury prognostically. Anti-inflammatories will reduce the results of joint distress but do nothing to change the reason for the inflammation. Stretching muscles will create a temporary reprieve from tension but there nature will tend to return them to their original tone particularly if the attachments are unvarying in their position post treatment. Cracking joints, whether that be a grade 5 move or an audible release or even under anaesthesia, serves merely to overstretch ligaments, taking them outside their physiological range, which by definition, can only cause instability in the long term.
