FOX-VPS have invested heavily during recent years in expanding and enhancing it’s CNC and conventional milling capability. In addition, careful attention to fixturing and tooling systems as well as operator training have produced considerable increases in productive capacity.

FOX-VPS hold the BS EN ISO 9001 accreditation and operate a dedicated quality control facility.

FOX-VPS offer a full fabrication service in support of its machining and casting capability. Our workshop includes a broad range or facilities including:

2 x MIG welding set.

1 x TIG welding set.

1 x Manual metal arc set.

1 x Oxy/Acetylene welding set.

1 set powered rollers for handling large hydraulic cylinders during welding.

We have pre-welding and post-welding heat treatment facilities.

FOX-VPS carry out assembly work ranging from the fitting of bearings, seals, helicoil inserts or dowels on to complex transducer assemblies and complete Fire Vehicle Foam Monitors.

FOX-VPS has nearly forty years experience in the manufacture of hydraulic cylinders and in the design of hydraulic systems that satisfy a wide variety of installations. These range from the harsh environment typical of civil engineering applications through mechanical handling equipment and on to high quality applications in fire fighting vehicles and hovercrafts.
