Visitors will love the accommodation in this unique 1900 arts & crafts style house with its wealth of character - oak and terracotta floors, fireplaces and gorgeous moulded ceilings. An attractive and spacious lounge is available for guests’ use.
Four Gables is in a peaceful setting down a private lane, yet only 5 minutes’ walk from the bustling Georgian village of Boston Spa with its restaurants, shops and riverside walks. The beautiful gardens, extending over half an acre, include an interesting collection
of plants and trees - and a well-tended croquet lawn.
Breakfast at Four Gables is a treat.
Whenever David and Anne can find a reason, they stay in other b and b & hotels – and most of the time they find something to emulate (occasionally it works the other way too – they decided to pass on the crocheted toilet roll covers).
Detailed description:
A generous continental breakfast includes fruit from David’s garden (in season) and Anne’s homemade jams, marmalade, lemon curd and tea breads. Cooked breakfasts can be traditional English, using free-range eggs and the best bacon and sausage from the local butcher, or there are gourmet selections such as scrambled eggs with Scottish smoked salmon. Vegetarian options available.
Four Gables bed and breakfast accommodation is ideally located in Boston Spa, near Wetherby in West Yorkshire. Its location makes it the ideal place to stay for visits to York, Leeds, Wetherby Racecourse, the Yorkshire Dales and North Yorkshire Moors.
All of the beds have a fluffy down duvet (a lighter duvet is provided during the summer months) and all of the bed linen and towels are Egyptian cotton. Free WiFi throught the house. Each room has a television with DVD or VCR, and in addition to the tapes found in the rooms, there is a small library of movies on the landing for guests to choose from. There are tea/coffee making facilities with local bottled water or a filter jug (more environmentally friendly!), with a selection of coffees and teas as well as a biscuit to take the edge off. By the way, each of the bathrooms has a window! Most holels don't!

Neben den "Zimmern mit Frühstück" in unserem 5-Sterne-Haus "Four Gables" stehen auch drei "Cottages" mit Selbstverpflegung zur Verfügung. "Four Gables", ein altes Herrenhaus, ist auch istorisch von Bedeutung und gilt als besonderes Beispiel für die "Arts and Crafts" Bewegung in England.
Anne Watts ist in Deutschland geboren und aufgewachsen. Sie nimmt Ihre Anfrage per e-Mail oder Telefon auch gerne auf Deutsch entgegen.
