FORREST ESTATE

Forrest Estate is a privately owned 11, 000 acre estate situated in the heart of Dumfries and Galloway in south west Scotland.

The estate offers mixed deciduous woodland and conifer plantations over low hill ground providing excellent habitat for a strong population of red and roe deer. There are 4 large lochs nestled into the hills boasting a good stock of hard fighting wild brown trout.

The lower area of the estate is a combination of lowland farm land with mixed plantations that provides a good variation of habitation for game birds such as pheasant and woodcock.

Forrest Estate is an idyllic venue to experience traditional country sports and provides excellent facilities and guides in one of Scotland most dramatic and scenic settings, providing you with a unique experience and a true flavour of Scotland.

We can tailor for individuals wishing to ‘have a go’ at clays to larger groups of experienced guns looking to improve their skills or run a competative event.

Our sporting shooting ground provides the ideal opportunity to test your ability on simulated game such as springing teal, high pheasant or bolting rabbit or just simply come along and enjoy the exhilaration of our clay pigeon shooting at its very best in terms of sporting clays, facilities and equipment.
