The Hawthorne's is unique in its own right, offering accommodation for the elderly within a family environment, ensuring they are never left on their own as there is someone on site 24 hours a day. You can do as much as you wish, be completely independent or allow us to spoil you. Either way you become part of the family.
We, my children and I, extend our home to those who wish to stay with us as part of the family whether respite or long term. The Hawthorne's has a relaxed friendly atmosphere enhanced by my two teenagers, two dogs and five cats, all of which enjoy interacting as one, not forgetting the goldfish however he does tend to keep to himself.
Detailed description:
The Hawthorne's is unique because it gives you the opportunity to remain as independent as you want or can be, from one day to another, you choose what time you get up and what time you go to bed. You choose if you want a bath in the morning, afternoon or evening, you choose what you want to eat for breakfast, lunch, tea and supper, you choose if you want to do it yourself or have it done for you. There is always someone on site 24 hours of the day so you are never left at The Hawthorne's on your own. Family members and friends are always welcome, there are no set visiting times, with a little notice we are more than happy for them to stay for lunch, if they just pop in a coffee or tea will always be offered as we are happy to entertain them as part of our extended family.
Weather permitting we all like to be out and about, whether sitting in the garden enjoying the birds, flowers and sunshine, out walking or outings to places like Bourton-on-the-Water for coffee, cream teas or lunch, garden centres and other suitable places of interest.
