Short profile:
Audrey and Dennis established Flitton’s Nursery in 1964.
At that time the site was empty and completely neglected.
In no time at all crops were grown and soon the nursery began to take shape. Those early years were built up on growing vegetables, flowers, bedding plants, shrubs and making lots of home made preserves.
They had 4 children 2 girls and 2 boys and in the 1980’s when they all left school Diana (the eldest) trained as a Florist and joined the family business. Dennis died suddenly in 1996 and Audrey and the two girls became partners .The 2 boys have families of their own, but do not work in the business.
From then on up to today, the Nursery has been transformed to bring it in line with modern customer requirements. A new retail building, large car park, bigger plant sales areas and much more.

Flitton's Nursery is a great place to come for well grown plants at reasonable prices If you are looking to replenish your garden look no further than Flitton’s Nursery.
We hold Hanging Basket Workshops in April and October where you create your own professional basket and a Christmas Workshop in November.
The bedding plant season will, as always provide our customers with a brilliant show of all the latest colours and varieties on offer.
We stock a good selection of alpines, heather’s, conifers, climbers, shrubs, and ornamental trees.
Vegetable plants are very much in demand by customers and we produce many items in this range.
We aim to provide a comprehensive range of products all year round.
We have great range of glazed and terracotta pots in all sizes, and top quality compost to fill them.
We have helpful and knowledgeable staff that are only to pleased to assist with all enquiries.
