Five Rivers is a leading indepentant social enterprise. providing specialist children's services since 1989 for looked-after children. These services are Crisis Intervention, Assessment and Therapy, Residential Care, Family Placements, Education and are available as a national intergrated service.
We were established in 1989 to provide a secure environment with as much normality as possible for young people who have experienced abuse, neglect and traumatic relationships or for children who are in need of specialist residential care.

Over the past two decades we have developed our ‘Five Fundamental’ services, Crisis Intervention, Assessment and Therapy, Residential Care, Family Placements, Education.
Each of which are principle-based and remain embedded within our complete
'Integrated Children's Services'.
At Five Rivers we promote a strong, pragmatic philosophy, shared by all of our professional and experienced staff, that each child or teenager is an individual in their own right, with their own unique reactions to trauma.
