Short profile:

The original 200 year old inn had not seen many changes, it has became a popular pub and restaurant in the area. Adrian Di and the family have continued to build the reputation of the Five Bells. The Five Bells restaurant is now widely known in and around Lincoln as providing excellent food and drink.

Opening times : Weekdays Mon - Fri : 12pm - 3pm (food served until 2pm) Mon - Thurs : 6pm - late, Fri : 5pm - late. Weekends Sat : 12pm - 3pm, 5pm - late Sun : All day from 12pm.

Detailed description:

The pub now has five open fireplaces three of which are gas log effect fires. In the old bar there is the feature Inglenook fireplace the whole width of the bar with the old black lead grate and cooking range, whilst at the opposite end the well and the fireplace in the main bar built from reclaimed Georgian bricks are over 250 year old Georgian bricks. The well has been opened up and it exposes 15 feet depth of clear water and has now got a top on. Re using victorian floor boards which were reclaimed from the Mount School, Newark and with settle seats and genuine victorian farmhouse tables and chairs. The Five Bells has been returned to a Victorian Country Inn.
