Our planned provision ensures that all of our pupils take part in a programme of curriculum based educational visits such as the Imperial War Museum and Wakehurst Place.All Year 5 and 6 pupils take part in a residential outdoor activities week which includes rock climbing, abseiling and canoeing. We provide a range of extra-curricular activities/clubs which include art and craft, music, cricket, rounders and outdoor activities. In addition many of our pupils attend after school activities at Heathfield Community College, these include, netball and badmington. Peripatetic music teachers from the East Sussex Music Service, currently provide violin tuition for a small group of our pupils on our school premises. Other activities for pupils this year have included drama workshops, theatre visits and the Heathfield Area Schools Swimming Gala. Our Y5 and Y6 pupils took part in the art activities and workshops organised by Heathfield Community College. All Junior pupils are taught swimming as part of the P.E. National Curriculum every week throughout the school year. This takes place at St Leonards, Convent Mayfield indoor pool.
