Short profile:

Traditional Thai massage is a formal healing with roots in Buddhism, Thailand's national religion, influenced by the ancient Indian Ayurveda integrated with Chinese practices. In the early days it was only practiced in the temples. Thai massage is based on pressure points along 10 key energy lines which powers all our physical, mental and emotional processes. Where there is energy imbalance, the body's harmony is disrupted, causing pain an disease.

Massaging along these key energy lines can break energy blockage, stimulate the flow and restore general well being. There are 2 types of Thai massage: Royal Thai Massage - was previously used in the royal palace. It is a Thai healing art and, in the past, was used only by the king and his relatives.

The masseur or masseuse used strong fingertips to apply deep pressure along key energy lines. Some may find this a bit intense, but it provides the most therapeutic effects to treat muscle tension and is very relaxing afterwards.

Detailed description:

Thai Folk Massage - has been used between Thai people for thousands of years. Hands, palms, elbows, keens and feet are used with bending and stretching in yoga postures. Both royal Thai massage and Thai folk massage are performed on a mat either on the floor, or on a massage table. This depends on how the practitioner wants to treat the client. Some practitioners give treatment on the floor and some on the massage table. If you prefer, please feel free to discuss with me over the phone before your booking, whether you want a massage on the floor or on massage table. Clients can be fully clothed or without clothes if required, but you will need to be covered with the towel or leave your underwear on.

Whether I use oil and Thai balm is dependent on the pain of the client. Please let me know if you do not want to use Thai balm or oil. However, I do recommend Thai balm and oil as it is amazing stuff from my homeland that can be used to ease many pains.
