Pony trekking originated here in Llanwrtyd Wells in The Heart of Wales over 50 years ago. Ever since people have enjoyed riding holidays here, hacking out from the town into the most beautiful countryside imaginable. Llanwrtyd, though the smallest town in Britain is a lively place with plenty going on to entertain visitors.
Ffos Farm is a small, friendly stables offering riding tailored to individual needs whether you are a total beginner, novice or experienced rider.
Only from here can you ride out into the famously beautiful Abergwesyn Valley, trek through the Crychan Forest, swim the horses in the Wash Pool or enjoy a quiet ride by the Dulais, Cammarch or Irfon rivers led by experienced guides who will do their utmost to ensure you have an enjoyable, safe ride.
Depending upon which ride you join you may see the Brecon Beacons in the distance or Drygarn Fawr, the highest of the Cambrian Mountains, but whichever way you ride you can be sure that the scenery will be second to none.
