Short profile:
We offer general gynecology and obstetric care. We also have subspecialty interest in urine and pelvic floor problems in women of all ages including overactive bladder or stress incontinence, constipation or anal soiling as well as all other pelvic floor dysfunctions. We also have special interest in fertility matters treating infertility or recurrent miscarriages using Naprotechnology. Naprotechnology has a holistic approach to women’s health and treats couples and human life with a lot of dignity.
Detailed description:
Miss M Spiteri trained as an obstetrician and gynecologist in North London. She trained at the main teaching hospitals namely the Royal Free and Chelsea & Westminster hospitals as well as the the nearby district hospitals. She was at University college London/the Whittington hospital for completion of her research on the role of Connective tissue in the Pelvic Floor which led to completion of her MD awarded by the University of London.
She completed her subspecialty training at St Mary’s hospital and St Mark’s /Northwick Park hospitals in 2007 and is now consultant obstetrician and gynecologist in the NHS with accreditation as a sub specialist in urogynaecology. Over the last 2 years she trained in FertilityCare and Naprotechnology after she realised that a more ‘natural’ alternative existed to family planning and management of infertility.
She thoroughly enjoys her work and aims to provide an excellent service with utmost respect to couples and women’s health.
