From the very start we have attended ‘knitting’, ‘hobby-craft’ exhibitions all over the UK, from Glasgow way up in the north to Brighton in the south. We feel this is the best way for people with an interest in this craft to view, have a feel, and purchase our products. Our own simple, but effective, patterns using large needles will suit all knitters, from the beginner with very basic knowledge of knitting to the most experienced knitter.

The Fancy Yarn Specialists are a family based company established in July 2006 by partners Diane Pacey and Chris Cowton after Diane’s parents Brenda and Brian decided cut down and progressively retire their company ‘Bee Bee Wools’ which they had run for over 20 years. Our main focus was to search for interesting, fun, elegant but high quality yarns and produce simple, effective patterns so anybody from total beginner could make them. Knitting should be fun, not a chore, so with our patterns and yarns you can make your own attractive garments within a few hours or evenings not days and weeks!
