Detailed description:
The curriculum is enhanced by well attended clubs and activities in and beyond the normal school day. We offer a wide range of varied clubs that change termly in order to ensure the interests of all pupils are met
Activities involve the pupils with sports, arts, and cultural experiences that greatly extend pupil learning and personal development and contribute in very great measure to the pupils enjoyment of school
Qualified trainers coach pupils in sport, dance and music
We run clubs in the Easter and Summer Holidays
Study Clubs are offered free of charge for pupils to undertake additional study with access to ICT and online resources
The curriculum and pupil learning is enhanced by out of school visits for all year groups
The school also organises residential visits for key stage one and two pupils
The Creative Curriculum is supported by visits out of school, and visitors into school ranging from artists, actors and members of our local community
The school has a very strong link with Moseley Old Hall and pupils have worked collaboratively with another school on a history project
Year 6 pupils attend University weeks to raise aspirations. Pupils attend ‘Playing for Success’ sessions to raise their mathematics and literacy skills
