Short profile:

The school offers a broad and balanced curriculum based upon Curriculum 2000 and supported by QCA schemes and National Frameworks and uses Educational trips and visitors to the school to support this. There are a wide range of activities available to pupils at the school, which enhance their learning. The school runs a club for ICT, which supports the curriculum and allows pupils to develop and extend their skills. A problem solving club is provided for those who enjoy a challenge and enjoy lateral and practical puzzles and a Reading Club.

A Spanish Club has been available on a short term basis. There are peripetetic lessons in Keyboard, Singing, Recorder, Flute and Strings available for the children at a modest cost. in the autumn term we hope also to introduce African drumming.

The children have access to a wide variety of sports clubs, including multi-skills, dance, golf, tennis, cricket, football, lacrosse, judo and badminton and cheer leading. There is a School Council, whose members are voted for by the children. Back to top
