After spending 60 years in South Chingford, we have recently completed a complex factory move to Braintree, swapping North East London for North East Essex!
Product developments include technical advances in fire performance, environmental responsibility, accessibility, acoustic doors and panels, design innovation, and offsite fabrication.
We are continuously expanding applications for our doors and doorsets into new areas such as health, education, leisure, transport and security.
We are also improving the way we manage door supply to conform with the latest procurement requirements of the industry.

Keen to maintain our long and unrivalled experience in the manufacture of high-performance fire and acoustic doors and doorsets and veneered panels, we have invested heavily in new factory plant and state of the art machinery to complement the traditional skills of the Shadbolt craftsman.
We’re roughly 15 minutes from London Stansted and welcome a visit from anyone who may care to see our new home – we’re confident that you will not be disappointed!
Shadbolt have the skill and experience, and the unrivalled stocks of wood veneers, enabling us to produce complete matched door and panel schemes, together with matching door frames, skirtings and other components.
It is the variations from leaf to leaf which give veneers their special qualities. The effect depends on expertise in the selection of the timber, the method of cutting and matching the veneer leaves, and the skill in using the natural variations of the material to produce the finest effects.
