The planning system in England and Wales, together with the Environment Agency, require a robust assessment of flood risk in accordance with Planning Policy Statement 25 (PPS 25), or Technical Advice Note 15 (TAN 15), for many new and existing sites. In Scotland, the Scottish Environmental Protection Agency require a similar standard of assessment under Scottish Planning Policy 7 (SPP7).
Based in East Anglia and with UK coverage, Evans Rivers and Coastal Ltd is under the overall control of its Director Rupert Evans BSc (Hons) MSc CEnv C.WEM MCIWEM FGS AIEMA MIEnvSc. Rupert is a Chartered Environmentalist and has 10 years experience in PPS 25 flood risk assessment and flood management, and has worked on an array of projects across the UK, ranging from private housing and commercial developments to strategic flood risk assessments for local authorities.
