Power-Plate is used for a high intensity and effective workout and consists of a vibrating base, which vibrates up and down approximately 1 to 2 mm (1/16") 25 to 50 times per second. It’s large enough to accommodate a person in deep squat. Traditional exercises such as squats and push-ups are done on the vibrating base. The motion makes the exercise positions harder to hold, because it involves loads several times the force of gravity. People typically do a series of exercises for 30 seconds to one minute each on the machine, with rests of a similar duration.

Kettlebells are cast iron weights resembling cannonballs with handles and are tremendously popular in Esporta clubs. Sizes range from 5 lbs to 175 lbs, but the traditional Russian kettlebell usually weighs roughly 35lbs. Unlike traditional dumbbells, the kettlebell's centre of mass is extended beyond the hand. This allows for swing movements not possible with traditional dumbbell and because more muscle groups are utilised in the swinging and movement of a kettlebell (particularly posterior chain and core muscles), the workout is widely acknowledged to be more effective, yielding better results in less time.
