Persian by birth, Gohar Goddard grew up in Pakistan
and France. She settled in England in 1967.
She opened Ziggurat, the luxury yarn store, in Kensington in 1985.
In 1995, Gohar founded English Weather, 100% cashmere and 100% silk knitwear. In 2004, Spinning Tops, the children’s luxury cashmere collection was launched.
A painter and a potter, Gohar lives with her family in London and the South of France.
