We can provide you with help to purchase your own home in Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Northamptonshire and Lincolnshire (inc Rutland) through government sponsored home ownership schemes. We will help you choose the most suitable one for you by providing information, advice and access to buying your first home.

Detailed description:

The Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) have selected a number of Housing Associations, as HomeBuy Agents to provide a ‘one stop shop’ advice and information service about low cost home ownership/HomeBuy schemes.

HomeBuy Agents:

Operate within county boundaries.

Explain how the different low cost home ownership/HomeBuy schemes work.

Offer advice, information and access to anybody looking for one of these schemes.

Advertise where schemes are currently available and where there are plans to provide these in the future.

Issue application forms and carry out initial eligibility assessments.

'Sign post' eligible applicants to suitable schemes being sold by other organisations within particular counties.
