Short profile:
As links between Korea and the UK continue to grow, the Embassy has
extended its efforts to provide acomprehensive comprehensive and
accessible source of information. We are privileged to have recently
opened the Korean Cultural Centre, and to work in partnership with the
branches of our information team: the Korea Trade-Investment
Promotion Agency and the Korean National Tourism Organisation.
This network of oganisations works to assist and encourage cultural and
economic exchange between Korea and the UK, and foster mutual
growth and understanding.
Detailed description:
Although geographically distant, Korea and the
UK enjoy a long history of friendship and
cooperation. With firmly established economic, academic and cultural ties, it is greatly
rewarding to play a role in the further
development of the relationship between our
two countries.
The relationship between our countries has gone from strength to
strength, and with a shared concern for global peace and prosperity, I
believe that Korea and the UK look forward to a bright and exciting
future.
