Built in 1604, Elm Farm Country House is ideally situated in Horsham St Faith in the heart of Norfolk within easy reach of Norwich and the East Anglian coast.

Set in 1.5 acres of beautifully kept gardens and with its large duck pond, the peaceful atmosphere at Elm Farm is ideal for a restful break or exploration of all of Norfolk’s delights. Hide yourself away in our ‘Garden of Eden’, surrounded by shrubbery and 400-year-old flint walls.

Come and relax in beautiful surroundings in our 17th century farmhouse, wander around the extensive gardens and visit the ‘Garden of Eden’ surrounded by 400 year old flint walls - the perfect spot for photographs. Better still, why not stay with us in the old dairy or stables with their beamed ceilings and old walls?

Detailed description:

With licensed bar and full restaurant facilities, Elm Farm’s two private function rooms are the perfect spot for any occasion, from buffet to banquet, with outdoor dining areas beside the duck pond for summer evening nights out.

Under new ownership in 2007, Elm Farm has seen many changes in the 400 years it has stood at the heart of the lovely Norfolk village of Horsham St Faith.

With character oozing from its ancient brickwork, Elm Farm is full of charm and if you look carefully it has many stories to tell from the old crooked beams to the flint and brick walls.

But one thing will never change - the warm welcome the house and staff will give to you, the peaceful and relaxing gardens and the pond with its ducks, chickens and the farm’s famous black swans - plus new arrivals, our British Saddleback pigs Henry and Matilda.

    terrible terrible place dirty and staff unfriendly and unhelpful,food expensive ,we tried to make conversation with the landlady who spent most of the evening getting drunk at the bar,never again!!!!!

    We booked Elm Farm for my dad's 65th birthday, as it is local and we had eaten there before. There were 21 of us in the group and all had an excellent meal with fast and efficient service. All the staff were helpful and friendly and we couldn't fault anything. The food was very good value for money! The setting is great, with a large pond with various animals, it kept our girls amused seeing the pigs being fed and watching the black swans with their young. Overall, Elm Farm is a very respectable establishment and I would recommend it to anyone!

    My family and I have stayed here for many years, several times a year. We consider it our home-from-home and love every minute. The staff are kind and welcoming, the value for money is excellent and the food is good.
