Ellis Design Associates are a small independent practice of consulting civil and structural engineers whoe main areas of expertise are in the design and construction phases of building and civil engineering projects. Their speciality is the design of temporary structures used during construction.
Detailed description:
Although temporary works design forms the core of our business our structural engineering skills are also applicable to the design of permanent structures. We have designed many varied structures in steel, reinforced concrete, and timber for a number of clients. We are widely experienced in the design of cofferdams, temporary retaining walls, temporary, and permanent foundations.
We are based on the South coast of England, and while most of our work is in the United Kingdom we have also worked in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, the Middle East and North America.
