East Liverpool Economic Community Trust Ltd (ELECT) exists to help gain employment or start a business for all residents of Merseyside and West Lancashire, whatever their personal circumstances improving their quality of life, sustaining communities and strengthening local economies.
Since our formation as a social enterprise in 1996, our award-winning work has helped hundreds of people facing social exclusion and economic hardship to start up a business or access employment opportunities. This has had the dual benefit of enhancing the opportunities and earning potential of those individuals and the lives of their families and communities.
