Detailed description:
Be introduced to the basics of posture, breathing and voice production. There's improvisation and different styles of drama. Learn about scripts and stagecraft with texts from Shakespeare to Spike Milligan. Write and create your own plays and work with directors to bring them to life.
Work on new routines with choreographers (not ballet or tap) and feel the rhythm! Class includes work on posture, exercise, co-ordination and covers the history of dance - from country dancing though to 20th century dance crazes like the Charleston, the Twist, Line Dancing and Street Dance.
Learn what goes up and what comes down and find out about notes, keys, rhythms and harmonies along the way. We encompass different musical styles and explore the work of musical theatre composers and lyricists.
