Short profile:
Our school currently has 265 on roll including Nursery pupils. We have a Ball Games Court facility, two halls and a large field – this enables us to promote sport and competitions.
There is an Art/ D.T. room facility so we can promote hands on learning and develop skills.
Detailed description:
We have recently refurbished our I.C.T. Suite with new state of the art equipment.
There is a Family room for meetings with parents, adult education classes and drop in sessions with a Nurse etc.
We have created several small rooms for small group teaching.
All toilets, both for children and staff, have been modernised including accessible toilets installed.
We are constantly looking at our out of hours provision to keep children engaged and provide opportunities for our gifted ad talented children. We seek feedback from parents and children in order to further improve. We now offer our nursery parents a option of Flexible entitlement at present in the form of 5 x 3 hour sessions. Next academic year we are looking into other flexible arrangements for working parents.
