Updated 4 months ago

Short profile:

The Play Service provides a wide range of activities for children aged 0-14 years and their parents and carers. These vary from drop-in activity sessions at play centres, where children can come and go as they choose, to childcare schemes such as after school clubs, holiday play schemes and children’s centres.

Detailed description:

The Play Service runs a number of after school clubs around the borough. Each club collects from local schools and operates from the end of school until 5.45pm. A charge is made for these clubs. Sure Start is the Government's programme to deliver the best start in life for every child by bringing together education, childcare, health and family support services for families through children's centres
