E J Media Ltd is a small, but forward thinking, Sheffield based company providing niche marketing opportunities for predominantly small to medium sized businesses through a variety of media. E J Media was formed in 2003 by entrepreneur Eddie Short, after he identified a gap in the market for a specialised magazine publication for mobile DJs.
Pro Mobile magazine has since become firmly established, with an avid readership and strong base of advertisers. Although Pro Mobile is still the backbone of the business, over the years E J Media Ltd has expanded organically into other related and interlinked projects.
We currently run a suite of ‘For My Wedding’ websites, publish & distribute books related to DJing and similar topics as well as undertaking a variety of graphic design projects for our clients.

Pro Mobile is the UK's only printed magazine dedicated to mobile DJs. Since its launch in 2003 it has steadily grown a healthy and loyal readership of professional mobile DJs throughout the UK and further afield. The magazine is published six times a year and is available by subscription and from a network of equipment retail outlets. Pro Mobile also has an extensive online presence that is visited regularly by thousands of mobile DJs.
The website features videos, photo galleries, interactive features and is regularly updated with mobile DJ related news stories. Pro Mobile also publishes a monthly e-newsletter that is sent to a mailing list of over 11, 000 mobile DJs. Pro Mobile offers a unique opportunity for advertisers to reach this niche market through a combination of print, online and email advertising.
E J Media Ltd offer freelance graphic design services for all print and web based applications. This aspect of the business began with enquiries from small businesses looking to advertise in Pro Mobile magazine that did not have access to graphic designers. We can now provide a full graphic design service, both for Pro Mobile advertising and other projects including leaflets, catalogues, promotional literature, email templates, and web elements.
