The death of a loved one or relative can be a traumatic and emotional time. Here at Dyson's Funeral Services our staff have many years experience and we offer a personal, dedicated, caring and professional service to our clients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our move to larger premises at Bridgend, Penistone gives us an opportunity to offer improved facilities for bereaved families such as better security, additional car parking, use of our private viewing suite and use of our large welcoming sitting room.
Should you wish, our sitting room can also serve as a chapel to hold a religious or humanist service before the burial or cremation and can be used for a reception afterwards where our catering service accommodates up to 30 friends and relatives for a funeral tea.
We are proud to be a local, family owned and run business situated in Penistone and Deepcar, covering the immediate surrounding areas to our homes as well as the Sheffield, Rotherham and Barnsley area.

You can rest assured that we are always at hand to ease the burden, and to provide you with sympathetic advice following your loss. All children's funerals (up to 16 years old) arranged with Dyson Funeral Services are conducted without charge.
You are more than welcome to visit our peaceful premises to make any necessary arrangements. Alternatively if preferred, we are always happy to visit you in the comfort of your own home.
Our quiet and tranquil chapels of rest are where the deceased can rest in peace up until the funeral and where the bereaved family can visit. Should you wish to have the deceased at your own home, please let us know and we can discuss these arrangements with you. We offer quality hand-made coffins which are suitable for both burials and cremations. Available in a variery of veneered or solid timber, colours and finishes complimented with quality fittings we are always happy to talk through the different designs and choices with you. Cremated remains can be scattered at the crematorium, at a special place or infact almost anywhere, however permission may be required from the appropriate authorities. Should you prefer to keep the remains we have a wide choice of specially designed caskets available. All children's funerals (upto 16 years old) arranged with Dyson's Funeral Service are conducted without charge. Investing in a pre-arranged, pre-paid funeral plan may be something you wish to consider. Arranging and paying for your own funeral in advance will not only lessen the burden on your loved ones but you can rest assured that your wishes are adhered to and that the price you pay is today’s price and not an inflated price of years to come. We believe that the Independent Way funeral plan, which is available only through Independent Funeral Directors such as ourselves, offers you significant advantages over other funeral plans.
