Dumfries Osteopathic Clinic is based at Lochthorn Medical Centre on Edinburgh Road. We are easy to find and just 2.5 miles from Dumfries town centre on the A701. There is a bus stop directly outside and ample free parking next to the building. The osteopaths Ingrid Mair, Julian Leask and Rosie Gibbs all practice conventional osteopathy using massage, stretching and manipulative techniques with an emphasis on being gentle. All our osteopaths specialise in cranial osteopathy which is suitable all ages and states of health.

Osteopaths treat the individual, not the condition. We treat patients with a wide range of problems from head to toe. Some patients only need a single treatment, others will benefit from a course of treatment and others see their osteopath periodically to manage problems over a longer term.
Patients with the following conditions have benefitted from osteopathic treatment; Mothers and Children Clinic Both Julian and Rosie are particularly interested in treating ante natal and post natal women, and children. With this in mind they will run a "mothers and children" clinic on Tuesday afternoons.
This will mean that should both mother and child require treatment it could be done at the same time and in the same room, providing a more relaxed treatment.
