We use an appointment system. We have part time reception staff who will be happy to take your call and book you an appointment. Otherwise, please do leave a message on the answer machine and we will return your call the next working day or ASAP. Practice hours are approximate and depend upon first and last arranged appointments, but as a guide: 1st Available Appointment Last Available Appointment Monday 09:00 14:00 Tuesday 09:00 19:30 Wednesday 09:00 18:00 Thursday 09:00 17:30 Friday 09:00 19:30 Saturday 09:30 17:00 Sunday Closed
Home Visits. For situations such as; a patient being too ill to travel, registered disabled, or with no transport, home visits are available. A further fee may be requested to cover travel expenses. (Practice appointments are preferred). Emergencies We do our very best to see all emergency cases on the same or next day of presentation.
During your first appointment (approximately 30 - 45 minutes) we will take a detailed history from you. We will then do an examination which may involve a few simple tests. This will help us to develop a course of treatment to deal with the root cause of the problem. During this time we will make notes on your record card.
Treatment will then follow (in most cases). We will explain to you what is causing your specific condition so that you can get a clear picture of what can be done to improve it and avoid aggravating it. We also offer advice on specific exercises you can use to alleviate your problem. Subsequent sessions are used for both treatment and evaluation to ensure the most appropriate techniques are employed to speed your recovery.
